Cross-Country and Back Again with Homesteaders of America

At some point between starting my little business in June 2024 and now, I dreamed of going to Homesteaders of America in Virginia as a vendor. I applied and waited nervously for the acceptance email. When it finally came, it felt like a welcome hug from a mentor. To me. it said, “We see you and we think what you have to offer has value.”

Our products were born authentically. All of our products began as recipes we used in our own kitchen and have shared with friends and family. It all began with our Herb Salt, something we made for ourselves, shared with friends, fulfilled requests to make more and now make to share with all of you. I know friends, family and people we meet at local vendor events really like our products but I was honestly blown away at the enthusiastic reception we received at Homesteaders of America.

Never in a million years could I ever have imagined, that I would pack up hundreds of jars of homegrown, handmade goodness and set off across the country with the man I love and a dream to share it with as many people as possible. We were inspired by the kindness of strangers, easy connections and the generosity we experienced wherever we went. Thank you to everyone who made our trip so special.
